ABOUT ME
In my first year of graduate school I won Sigma Xi's Research Excellence Award, and most recently was awarded a NASA Idaho Space Grant Consortium Graduate Fellowship that is currently supporting my second year of graduate studies.
I am also a student mentor for REU and INBRE fellows at North Idaho College and University of Idaho. I enjoy working with undergraduates and am working to help Dr. Fuerst bridge the gap between 2 and 4-year institutions by developing a satellite research lab for distance learning students and students that otherwise wouldn't pursue a higher education degree. I'm proud to be an INBRE alumna!

I teach Anatomy & Physiology and Intro to Biology at North Idaho College. I enjoy delivering instruction in a lab setting. I have high expectations of my students, but provide them with all of the tools necessary to be successful in their future careers in the medical field.

...and I am a mom of four!
