Mellisa Clemons, BS

I am currently a second-year doctoral student at the University of Idaho under Dr. Peter Fuerst. My graduate studies are in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry with a focus on Neuroscience. The Fuerst lab's interests are in what drives neurodevelopment and how the neural circuit repairs itself. My doctoral research focuses on mitochondria as an interface for neural development and disease.
